Custom pinnies questions, answered.
Everything buyers ask before they order — minimums, timings, artwork and print options.
What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is just 12 pinnies — one set for a single squad is a normal order — with volume tiers for schools, academies and council programmes.
How fast will my pinnies arrive?
Your free mockup lands within 24 hours and finished pinnies ship in about 2 weeks, with express turnaround available when a season start or a tournament date is fixed.
Which two colours should we choose?
One clearly light and one clearly dark, whatever the hues happen to be. Contrast in value survives rain, dusk and distance; contrast in hue does not. Red against orange and navy against black both look like sensible pairs on a chart and merge on a wet pitch. Photograph your two swatches together and look at the picture in black and white before you commit.
Why did the print crack off our last set?
It was applied to open mesh. Ink needs a continuous surface to bond to and mesh does not have one, so it bridges the holes and then breaks along every one of them under hot institutional washing. Numbers and logos go onto a solid knitted panel built into the garment instead.
Why do pinnies tear at the side seams?
Nearly always the armhole rather than the stitching. A pinnie goes on over a shirt, a training top or a school jumper, and if the armhole was cut to a body chart the side seam takes the load every single time it is pulled on. We quote armhole depth and chest width for what is going underneath.
Are reversible pinnies worth it?
If you rotate groups mid-session and storage is your constraint, clearly yes. If the same garments go out more than once a day, no — two bonded layers dry far more slowly and you run out of dry ones before you run out of sessions. Two single-layer sets in a light and a dark are usually the better buy.
Is a fluorescent pinnie high-visibility clothing?
No. Fluorescent fabric is a colour, not a certification, and a training bib is not certified high-visibility clothing however bright it is. If somebody needs to be seen by traffic they need certified garments, which is a different product and a different supplier. We will not imply otherwise on a quote.
Do you make match jerseys or race numbers?
No. Playing shirts, cycling kit and printed race numbers are all different products with different construction, and there are suppliers who do nothing else. Everything we make goes over the kit and comes off at the end of the session.
